Short-term 2027 winter rental
Our fully furnished single-family home is in Milton, a lovely suburb adjacent to Boston. Within walking distance are a grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, a gym, two parks, and a neighborhood elementary school. The middle school and... high school are both a short drive.
For those commuting to UMass Boston or elsewhere in the area, the house is conveniently located near Exit 10 on I-93. Bus stop at the end of the block to get to campus. North Quincy Red Line station is about a 10-minute drive away, and the Milton stop on the Mattapan trolley is just a 4-minute drive (or about a 30-minute, somewhat hilly walk). On good days it takes me 9 minutes to drive to UMB campus. My friend who teaches at BC High bikes and most of the way is a bike path. My favorite commute to avoid UMB parking costs is the Mattapan trolley, then taking the T from Ashmont.
The house is on a quiet, safe street with wonderful neighbors, in a family-friendly town known for its excellent public and private schools.
The home also has a large backyard patio and a finished basement with a washer and dryer, TV, sofa bed. Upstairs, there is a sunroom with a sofa and TV that can also double as an additional office or workspace.
We’re ideally hoping to find someone interested in renting for 2–3 months and are happy to answer any questions about the house or the area.
