hi everyone! we are looking for a 4th roommate to join our apartment in Dorchester. going to include as many details as possible to make this easier, so here’s a long one.
4 beds/1 bath, a living room we don’t really use. it’s super affordable,... $700/month per person, and our utilities per person are usually $25-$40 each.
we’re looking for people similar, graduating soon, grad students or people in 20s who are working. we’re all in our early to mid twenties, sydney (she/her), devin (she/they), and whisper (she/it) and 2 of us work in colleges.
we’re open to having a cat, but cannot have dogs per our lease, and no smoking inside. We have a small porch off the back, parking is on the street no permit required. laundry is through quarters and is down the stairs in the back hallway.
accessibility: the apartment has a staircase up from the street level, and then about a staircase and a half up to our floor (same in the back).
transportation: bus 8, 16, 17, 41 are all 2-5 minutes walking. JFK/UMass redline is about a 10 minute walk and Andrew station redline is about 15-20 minutes walking.
the room is a good size, has two closets, a radiator for heat, and a window. current roommate uses a loft bed, but fits a full/queen bed too and a desk! see photos from the previous layout.
the most important thing to note, is we cannot except anyone without a guarantor, so please keep that in mind.
secondly due to allergies, we cannot have any candles, incense, strong perfume, etc in the house, unscented cleaning supplies, and it’s not negotiable.
please message me if you’re interested, the lease is move-in september 1st, you would be buying out the current tenant which is first, last, and security.
